I have discovered a gem of a new NFT artist, Ben Dansie and his first project IMPOSSIBLE JEWELLERY has just launched and in my opinion, it is worth investing in.

Impossible Jewellery #016 , Edition of 1, price 0.04 ETH
Impossible Jewellery consists of 100 unique NFTs, each animated & with sound. The first 30 have just been minted for the very affordable price of 0.04 ETH.
You’re seeing them first and you’ll have the opportunity to acquire them at their lowest starting price.
The next set of 30 are going to be priced 50% more at 0.06 ETH and the 2 subsequent drops of 20 unique NFTs each will be priced higher than the previous collection. The first 30 took months to create one at a time and I haven’t the dates for the subsequent drops, but I suspect it’ll take the rest of the year for the remaining jewels to be hand made.

Ben Dansie is an Australian full-time artist who for many years has been exploring the bridges between the digital and the physical. Along the way gaining expertise in digital/physical 3D Printing, scanning, sculpting, NFTs, VR, AR and beyond.
The IMPOSSIBLE JEWELLERY of Ben Dansie is not constrained by reality, by the laws of physics, nature and the capabilities of manufacturing. These unique NFTs are the digital manifestations of Ben’s creative genius and limited to only his imagination
“Impossible Jewellery
Metal in motion. Impossible Jewellery is a study of making that which cannot be made in the physical realm and celebrating the reflective lustre of their digital form. A collection of 100 hand crafted NFT artworks wrought from pixels and imagination.”
Impossible Jewellery #009 , Edition of 1, price 0.04 ETH
If we value digital assets and we do, then digital jewellery, even though they can only ever exist as NFTs also hold value, especially when they are so rare & exquisite.
I wouldn’t be surprised if this drop sets of a FOMO FEEDING FRENZY akin to a school of sharks trying to get a bite.
Impossible Jewellery #023 , Edition of 1, price 0.04 ETH
What I love about the NFT community is artists come from all fields. In the traditional art world, most artists originate from art school. Certain art movements such as Pop Surrealism had artists enter in from a wider range of sources and influences such as Illustration, Graffiti, Tattooing, Animation and more.
The NFT community however has the greatest diversity of creative backgrounds and capable of integration with every aspect of the physical world as seen with D&G.
Dolce-Gabbana’s recent fashion auction “Collezione-Genesi” raised $6 million from the sale of 9 NFTs. Owning the NFT also got you the physical outfit.
Dress from a dream, Gold, edition of 1 sold for 225.5 wETH USD$873,334.44
I’ve had a sneak peek at the first 30 and they’re great and I’m lead to believe as the series grows the complexity, variations and conceptually what constitutes IMPOSSIBLE JEWELLERY will also expand.
This first project is just the start for Ben Dansie, when you know what he’s capable of one can imagine an upward trajectory in the NFT scene like Billelis & Raf Grassetti, anything is possible it’s still early days!
